1st International Congress on Circular Economy and Restaurants

Barcelona, the World Capital of Sustainable Food in 2021, is one of the twenty participating cities of the “Food Initiative” launched two years ago by the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, a world reference whose aim is to promote a global change that directs food towards a regenerative system, based on the principles of Circular Economy. In this context, the Sustainable Restaurants Foundation, with the support of the Barcelona City Council, organizes the I International Congress of Circular Economy and Restaurants, thus resuming the work started by the Symposiums of the same name, held in 2018 and 2019, which received a grand welcome by the restaurant sector.

Our co-founders Sonia Massari and Mariana Eidler were invited to be present in the 1st International Congress on Circular Economy and Restaurants to present The Fork Organization, sharing the panel ECO CONCEPTION: Innovation and new products. Catering as a leading innovation prescriber within a circular economy.
