Università di Pisa are taking part in “RinnovaMENTI Rurali”

During this whole week the PhD students from the Department of Agriculture, Food and Environment of Università di Pisa are taking part in “RinnovaMENTI Rurali”, co-creation lab for Tenuta di Suvignano (Monteroni d’Arbia, SI), where a farm confiscated to mafia is currently managed by Tuscany Region. Seminars, interviews and meetings with local stakeholders and public authorities (e.g.: representatives of the municipalities of Monteroni d’Arba and Murlo, la Fagiola di Venanzio, etc.), experiential and field research activities will provide PhD students with useful insights about legality, agriculture and innovation, in order for them to design potential solutions for the future management of the facility and the farm. The planned field visits include Tenuta di Suvignano fields and crops, the Museum of Mezzadria Buonconvento, the Mulinum farm. #design #innovation #ruralareas #legality
